Griffin Accounting got its beginning back in 1997 when Terry Griffin started preparing tax returns at home for additional side income. As the referrals and requests for return preparation grew so did the business. In 2007 he began working full time from a home office , building the business as a full service accounting company, adding payroll, bookkeeping and tax planning to the mix.

A second office was opened in downtown Port Huron in 2010 when Terry passed the IRS' Enrolled Agents exam and became able to add IRS representation to the list of services provided.

2012 brought additional growth when the tax preparation business of Webb Financial Services in Wadhams was acquired by Griffin Accounting and the company grew to serve over 2,300 clients.

During 2014, having outgrown the home office, a larger office was opened on Krafft Rd. in Port Huron. In 2015 the Wadhams office was also moved to our permanent location on Krafft Rd. enabling all our services and staff to operate together in one spacious and private facility.
